We have an opening for a Xero qualified bookkeeper/ accountant to join our team, as the firm goes into a period of expansion.

The individual would, ideally, be outgoing and ambitious with the capacity to bring new ideas and skill sets to the team.

They would need to hit the ground running, reporting directly and working closely with the partners.

High level of knowledge and proficiency of Xero is therefore essential.

A good working knowledge of other commercial bookkeeping and accountancy software would be an added advantage.

The position is full time.

The applicant should ideally have previous experience of working in a professional office.

However, depending on previous experience we would consider someone who has been in an industry payroll role, providing the applicant demonstrates the appropriate capabilities and skill sets to hit the ground running.

Detailed knowledge of the Sage payroll system and excellent organisation skills are vital as the individual will be expected to operate independently with some elements of reporting to management.

We have some flexibility on working hours but consider a minimum of 20 hours to be necessary for this role.
